Did you know that I offer birth photos after baby is born as well? Not everyone has their entire birth documented. Some women actually prefer showing up after baby is born. When all of the stimulation (usually overstimulation) has subsided and the bustle of the room change turns over. These are typically called "fresh 48" sessions.
Mom is usually snuggled up with baby and in that state of after bliss & stunning exhaustion.
Whether for religious, cultural, personal preferences or any other reasonings a woman can have because she simply can...you can still have your beautiful birth images.
Birth imagery can help with recovery. I'll take it even a step further and challenge that it could be essential to a degree for processing afterbirth. We all know we go through birth but how many of us actually remember it, let alone get a chance to process it? Regardless of how you birth or where you birth, you can still have these memories. Whether it is surgery, hospital, birth center or home birth, you can have your birth documented YOUR way
